Next Round Boxing

A new boxing gym for women was getting ready to launch. Started by a champion boxer, the branding needed to match the level of training and connect with women interested in boxing, personal training, and weight loss.

The Project

The gym targeted women in their 20s to late 30s who wanted to lose weight, build strength, and feel more confident—all while having fun and embracing their inner badass. With the founder transitioning from a personal trainer working out of their home to opening a full-fledged gym, the branding had to work across both settings.

 

The challenge was to design a brand identity that made boxing feel approachable for the average woman while maintaining an edge that reflected the intensity and confidence of the sport. The brand needed to appeal to women looking for a full-body transformation through a mix of boxing, cardio, and strength training.

What We Did

To bring this vision to life, we created a cohesive brand identity that included a bold logo, distinctive typography, a modern color palette, and versatile collateral materials. We also designed merchandise to help establish the gym’s visual presence and build community among its members.

The process began with detailed research into the target audience, fitness industry trends, and local competition. Armed with these insights, we developed a creative direction that focused on bright and bold colors to reflect the energy and empowerment at the heart of the brand.
 
One of the key challenges was to shift perceptions of boxing from an intimidating combat sport to something fun, empowering, and achievable for everyday women. The branding embraced this by combining confidence and vibrancy to inspire women to see boxing as a transformative and exciting fitness journey.

The Result
 

The new branding helped position the gym as a fresh, exciting option for women in the fitness space. The bright and bold identity resonated with the target audience, creating a sense of community and empowering members to feel confident in their strength.
 

By capturing the energy and confidence of the gym’s offering, the branding set it apart in a competitive market and created a clear visual identity that celebrated strength, empowerment, and boldness.
